Brief Product Description;

Shiraz (Red)

A soft, typically Australian shiraz with sweet spicy berrry fruit aromas. The grapes for this wine were harvested at full ripeness and fermented with the skins to obtain intense flavours and full mouthfeel characters. 

Shiraz Grenache (Red)

A good balance of fruit loading and vigour allowed some sunlight onto the ripening berries to give steady flavour development. Parcels of grenache were from old vines and have introduced some ripe spicy fruit intensity to the blend. Limited oak contact has allowed the beautifully ripe fruit to dominate. An elegant wine ready to drink.

Cabernet Shiraz Merlot (Red)

Aerative fermentation with full skin contact has produced the rich lively crimson colour which will develop into a brick red colour as the wine ages. Mouthfeel is full but soft. This wine requires no further ageing to be enjoyed. 

Semillon Sauvignon Blanc (White)

A cool finish to the 2006 vintage allowed full flavour profiles to develop in the fruit. Harvesting was carried out in the cool of night to ensure these flavours were maintained. Slow fermentation at low temperatures and preservation under screw cap closure has produced an elegant, well balanced wine which is ready to drink now.

 

Unwooded Chardonnay (White)

The 2006 vintage was particularly cooler during January and produced a slow ripening period which is reflected in the full flavoured wines of the vintage. The fruit was machine-harvested in the cool of the night and quickly processed prior to a cool slow fermentation to dryness. The wine was then lightly fined and bottled under screw cap to secure its quality and freshness.
